Club Brugge have announced that Burnley striker Jelle Vossen has returned to Belgium.
The 26-year-old was Sean Dyche’s second summer signing, joining from RC Genk for around £2.5m.
But, having started four games, making one appearance as substitute, it would appear the Belgium international has returned home,
Club Brugge have announced he has signed a five-year contract after passing a medical, following the departure of Tom De Sutter, who played in their Champions League qualifying defeat against Manchester United last week before joining Bursaspor in Turkey.
No fee has yet been announced.
