Crown FC go top of the table

A solitary strike from Shaun Garvey gave Crown FC maximum points against Station as they moved to the top of the Premier Division.

Life FC moved into second place in the table following a 3-3 draw against Sacred Heart. Two late goals from Matthew Aspinall gained a point for Hearts after Life had raced into a 3-1 lead following a penalty converted by Haroon Afzal and a Serkan Yilmaz brace. Danny Robinson had given Sacred Heart an early lead.

Four goals from Joe Murphy helped Graham Engineering Redskins record an emphatic 8-2 win against Sacred Heart United to move into third place. A brace from Danny Pinder along with goals from Lee Corns and Spencer Jordan helped Redskins secure the three points. Ashley Southworth and Andy Ledger were on target for United.

Trawden Venue overcame Paak United 3-1 to move into fifth place in the table and Timmy Ts recorded their first win in the Premier Division as they defeated bottom placed Pendle Blues by the same score.

In the top of the table First Division clash, Pendle Blues Athletic continued their perfect start to the season with a 2-1 win against Financial Affairs.. Goals from Michael Butler and Lee Denton helped Blues open up a six point gap at the top of the table. Gareth Boyle scored Affair’s consolation.

Crooked Billet and Sacred Heart Celtic Development shared eight goals in a superb encounter after meeting for the first time in their history.

A hat-trick from Yasser Khan was not enough for Paak AFC who lost 7-3 against Golden Ball and in the only other First Division match, Lanway and SKK Blacko shared six goals.

New boys FC Intershape continue to impress in the Second Division with another comprehensive victory, this time against Barnoldswick Barons. Hat tricks from James Brookes, and Adam Hartley and a brace from Steven Dickson helped them to an 8-0 win.

Fence FC contined with their unbeaten start to the new campaign with a 3-1 victory against Lord Nelson thanks to goals from Michael Cheema, Al Knight and an own goal. Gaz Merton scored for Lord Nelson.

Andy Husband scored for Boca Clarets to maintain their unbeaten record following a 1-1 draw against Pendle Athletic. Shahzaad Ali equalized for Athletic to secure his side’s first point in the league.

Goals from Lee Houfe and James Diggle helped Colne Cougars to a 2-1 win against AFC Veterans who’s consolation came from Jordan Cathro and the game between T & R Precision and Life Athletic finished goalless.
