1. Chris Woods
The former England international - a European Cup winner with Nottingham Forest in 1979 - made just 12 appearances for the Clarets during the 1997/98 campaign. The four-time Scottish Premier Division winner with Rangers played 43 times for the Three Lions.
2. Lee Dixon
The former Burnley right back, a two-time Premier League winner at Arsenal, only made four appearances for the Clarets before being moved on by John Bond. Dixon was also capped 22 times for England, scoring once.
3. David May
The defender was part of the famous 1998/99 treble-winning squad at Manchester United. He ended his career at Burnley, making 34 starts in Division One under Stan Ternent in 2003/04.
