Chris Wood gave the Clarets the lead when prodding the ball home from close range after Hugo Lloris had spilled Jay Rodriguez's striker. However, Spurs left Turf Moor with a point when Ben Mee brought down Erik Lamela inside the box and Dele Alli converted the penalty.
5. James Tarkowski 7
Aside from one slight hiccup in the first half, when allowing Lamela through, the Clarets centre back protected his goal well. Had to stay switched on when Spurs made changes to their personnel and shape and stood up to the challenge.
6. Jeff Hendrick 7
Needed to put a shift in, particularly in the second half when Spurs saw more of the ball and stretched the play. First to a high percentage of loose balls, protected possession well and distributed the ball effectively.
7. Dwight McNeil 7
Superb in the first half when opening things up for the Clarets while his cross led to Wood's opener. Had a quiet start to the second as Spurs doubled up on the winger, but showed his class as the home side searched for a winner - Lo Celso and Alderweireld will testify!
8. Jack Cork 8
Played a big in helping the Clarets get on top in the first half and continued to be influential as the hosts looked to keep hold of a point. His impact forced the withdrawal of Ndombele and Skipp at the break as the Spurs pair were anonymous.
