Barrowford Celtic secured runners-up spot in the East Lancashire Under 15s League with a convincing 4-2 victory over Rossendale outfit Glenross FC.

Lone striker James Astin scored all 4 goals for Celtic in style after an outstanding team performance.

Man of the match went to midfielder Jacob McGladdery.

This means Celtic will finish the season 13 points in front of third place after only losing only two games and drawing twice, having played a total of 25 games in the league and cup.

They will finish only seven points behind league champions Ossi Rangers, their opponents in the league cup final at AFC Darwen’s Anchor Ground.
