And defender Michael Keane can’t wait to see the challenge ahead of Burnley next season.

Keane joined the club from Manchester United, initially on loan, two years ago, and made 21 Premier League appearances as the Clarets were relegated.

And he was a virtual ever-present as they made an immediate return as Championship winners.

And he said: “I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be great being back in the Premier League, we had a taste of it last season and we can’t wait to get back.

“It’s what we play football for. These are the moments you live for, you look at the fixtures and there is a huge game every week to look forward to. We’ll go into every game buzzing that we’re there and enjoying who we’re facing.”
