Earby Town Reserves made it to the Craven League’s Second Division Cup Final courtesy of a 1-0 win at Bingley Town.
Town’s second string won this tight semi-final with a solitary goal by Matt Blackwell.
Neither side were able to dominate proceedings, and inside the last 15 minutes of the first half, Earby got what turned out to be the winner when they caught Bingley on the break.
The ball was played to Naser Zia just inside the Bingley half, and he laid the ball through to Blackwell, who outpaced his marker and slotted the ball under the keeper from just inside the box.
The second half remained tight until the last 10 minutes, when Bingley pushed men forward, but it was Earby who had the better chances on the break.
Blackwell saw one effort from inside the box saved by the feet of the keeper, and late on he fired a shot just wide of the upright from just outside the area.
