Colne’s longest established amateur football club, Rock Rovers, would like to thank their new strip sponsor Ideal Roofing of Colne.

Rock managed to beat the weather on Saturday as they took on derby rivals Barrowford Celtic at Bull Holme in the East Lancashire League First Division.
Rock were 2-0 up at half-time, with both goals scorfed by former Barnoldswick Town striker Neil Chapman.
A further goal from Alban Molloy midway through the second half put the game out of reach of Celtic, before a long-range effort from Barrowford reduced the arrears.
A final goal for Rock, from Andrew Husband, made it 4-1 and secured the points for Rock Rovers.
Rock host Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s at Edge End tomorrow, while Celtic entertain Burnley Belvedere at Bull Holme.
