BURNLEY-born keeper Rachel Brown has received a call up to the England Womens World Cup squad.
England manager Hope Powell has selected Rachel, who has represented England at Euro 2005, Euro 2009 and wore the number one jersey at the World Cup in 2007.
Rachel only recently made herself available for selection, after a stop-start Everton campaign so far this season with injury.
She will face stiff competition for the number one spot from Bristol Academy keeper Siobhan Chamberlain and Karen Bardsley, who plays her football in the United States.
England’s first game is against Mexico on Monday, 27th June in Wolfsburg, Germany.
