Rock Rovers will face Padiham A in the 2011 Bird Cup Final, sponsored by Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Marsden Building Society.
They beat last year’s finalists, Sacred Heart and Healeywood United, respectively.
The 2009 winners Rock Rovers enjoyed a comfortable 6-0 win against last year’s runners up Sacred Heart to book their place in the final.
David Blacklock opened the scoring in the early stages with a long range effort and then added a second for Rock Rovers shortly afterwards from a well-worked set piece.
A second half brace from Tom Cleaver, along with a goal from James Catlow and an own goal, ensured victory for the Trawden-based side.
After coming behind from a two-goal deficit in the quarter-final stages against Barrowford Celtic, Padiham A produced a brilliant performance in the semi-final against holders Healeywood United to book their place in the final of the Bird Cup for the first time.
After a goal-less first half where Padiham created, but failed to convert any of their chances, they went onto to totally dominate the second half and emerged as 5-0 winners.
A brace from Shane Kennedy along with goals from Michael Taylor, Joseph Taylor and substitute Steven Astbury gave Padiham A a comfortable win and a deserved place in the final.
Both clubs play their football in the Second Division of the East Lancs Football League and have already met twice in the league this season.
Rock Rovers won the first encounter, but Padiham A avenged this defeat with a 4-1 win against their rivals towards the end of the season.
The final itself should be another close and exciting encounter.
