Rolls are just one point behind Mastab’s Restaurant Craven and District Football League leaders Cross Hills after smashing nine past Earby at the weekend.

The Rolls Royce Sports Ground team were in scintillating form as they recorded a 9-2 victory over a Earby side who remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

Liam Garbutt found the back of the net four times during the rout while Morgan Brown helped himself to a brace.

Samuel Chapman, Jonathon McGeachie and substitute Matthew Coates also found themselves in the scoresheet come the final whistle. Matthew Nutter scored for Earby.

Man of the match was awarded to Garbutt for his goalscoring heroics.

Rolls are just one point behind Cross Hills now with a game in hand.

On Saturday it’s the reverse fixture as Rolls travel to Earby. The following Saturday, Rolls find themselves home to Grassington United.

Meanwhile Earby face a bottom of the table clash away at Embsay on Saturday, February 7th.
