Sacred Heart United moved level on points with Pendle Charity League leaders and current champions Trawden Venue following a 3-0 win against Pendle Blues.

Michael Hall, Mark Dutton and Joe Murphy were on target to extend United’s unbeaten run to seven games.

Fence FC moved up into third after sharing six goals with AFC Shooters. Craig Harrison (2) and Tony Mansworth struck for Shooters but a brace from Andy Hakin and a Tom Bradshaw effort secured a point for Fence.

Paul Fishwick, George Watson, David Potts and Matthew Aspinall scored Sacred Heart Redskins’ goals in a 4-1 win against Paak A. Akash Ajmal replied for Paak while in form striker Jake Butterworth scored a hat-trick for the third consecutive match as Northern Lights beat Financial Affairs 5-1 to move up to eighth place in the table.
