Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Dyche explained that he will still be without Republic of Ireland internationals Robbie Brady and Kevin Long, but Ashley Barnes - who was back on the bench at Wolves last Sunday after two months out - has another week's training under his belt.

Dyche has arguably the strongest hand he has had all season, in a campaign littered with injury problems, going into the last five games of the season.

And he explained: "Barnesy was in the squad last week, so that's good.

"He's continued his journey to fitness, or true fitness, this week, so we expect that to be fine.

"Robbie Brady and Kevin Long will still be missing, but people are getting back to real fitness. - (Jack) Corky is back in and played really strong for us last week, so he's getting back to true fitness.

"Barnesy isn't back to true fitness, but he's fit enough to be back in the squad, that's for sure.

"Johann (Berg Gudmundsson) was in the squad last week but didn't get any game time, but he's all well."
