Trawden Celtic went down 6-3 to Rolls in the Craven League Third Division.

Celtic were unlucky to lose two players to injury - one requiring an ambulance and a 20-minute interruption.

Man of the match Ben Gorman netted twice, with Thomas Swidells on target as the teams went in 3-3 at the interval.

Rolls finished strongly and were clinical - particularly Liam Garbutt -and deservedly took the points.

Tomorrow Celtic face Hoole Utd in the Lancashire Amateur Cup, kick-off 2 p.m. at Trawden Rec.

The reserves lost 4-3 to Cross Hills, with a hat-trick from Max Foxcroft.

Man of the match was Louis Bancroft.

Tomorrow the reserves face Ilkley Reserves at Holt House, kick-off 2 p.m.

Celtic’s Under 15s beat Idle Juniors 7-1, with goals from Harry Johnson (2), Joe Lonsdale (2), Harry Clay, Lewis Whitaker and Bailey Coates on target.
