Colne and Nelson Under 14s won a close game at Holt House against Bolton in the Blacksticks 26-19 in the Lancashire League.
Ben Raw went over for the first score, before providing the second for James Acheson-Gray, who cut inside the defence for five more points.
The locals showed more backs flair as Imy Shah collected a pass on the Colne 22 and weaved through to score under the sticks.
The final try was a stroke of genius as Mitch Sissons reached halfway and fed Dom Wells, who strode away to score under the sticks.
As the game started to close, the All Blacks lost the pace of Raw and lost some momentum.
The forwards also started to tire but Colne tackled their hearts out to see out the game.
A key moment in the game saw one of Bolton’s tall forwards break free, but Shah closed him down towards halfway and brought the mountain down. He got the offload though and Bolton were in for the equaliser, only for William Kay to hold off the attack.
