Colne Ladies competed for the annual Scratch Trophy, with three ladies all finishing gross scores of 86.
Anne Black’s better back nine beat Beverley Wellock into second place with Anne Bradbury third. Eva Pinder (88-19-69) won the best nett.
On Saturday at Colne, the Wilson Hartley Trophy was won by Tom Stephenson’s 82-17-65 on the card from Jeff Ellis (88-23-65), with Sam Halstead (76-10-66) third.
The gross prize went to James Lonsdale.
The 36-hole Harry Preston Trophy was won by Craig Vickery (68+67=135), with Tony Kegg (71+66=137) second and Wayne Hackett (64+74=138) third.
Members at Marsden Park competed for a board competition with Karl Gibbons’ 44 points giving him the title. Divisional One went to Martin Horsfield with 40; Thomas Nicholson’s 39 points won Division Two, and Division Three was won by Ian Cinnamond with 37.
Grandson of President and Lady President Fred and Pauline Greenwood, Charlie Owen, won the Junior tile with 40 points. Again with 40 points, Dawn Shaw took the ladies’ title.
On Sunday at Ghyll, the K. Bateson Memorial Trophy winner, on a card play-off, was Ian Graham with a 77-9-68; Division One winner was Scott Clarkson (70-2-68); Division Two winner was Jim Warner (82-14-68) and Division Three winner was Graham Reeder (86-17-69).
Last Thursday at Nelson Golf Club, the Cystic Fibrosis Trophy was won, in a card play-off, by Ann Dugdale with 102-31-71, from Lydia Cryer (96-25-71). and third was Linda Smith with a 98-26-72.
The Nine-Hole Competition was won by Jane Yates.
