Nelson professional Reeza Hendricks will play his last game tomorrow at Crompton after being included in the South Africa ODI squad, whose tour of Sri Lanka begins later this month.
Hendricks hit 81 not out in his last Seedhill innings on Sunday, as he put on an unbroken 185 partnership for the third wicket with the in-form David Crotty to ease Nelson to an eight-wicket win over Littleborough. Crotty finished unbeaten on 104 – the best knock of his career and second Lancashire League ton.
Crotty’s innings contained 15 fours and two sixes, coming off 113 balls, while Hendricks added 10 fours and a six in 92 balls.
That came after Littleborough had made 213-6, with Clinton Perren putting on 132 for the sixth wicket with Ryan Miskella, after the visitors had been 61-5.
Perren’s innings lasted 146 balls, with 13 fours, while Miskella hit nine fours and six sixes in a 63-ball knock.
Caleb Grant took 3-41 for Nelson.
