Forest thirds eased past Southport 5-1 with Cath Huitchinson claiming four goals.
The first few minutes saw Hutchinson and Freya Bythell work well to get the ball into the D and win a succession of short corners.
And from the fifth short corner, the ball was injected to Bythell, and slipped to Hutchinson, who found the left corner.
Moments later, another short corner saw Bythell slip the ball to Thea Cormack, who powered it past the keeper.
A mazy run from Hutchinson allowed her to place the ball under the keeper, and as Forest continued to attack, Bythell confidently placed the ball in the bottom left corner from the top of the D.
Southport pulled one back with a great finish, and then the umpire had no choice but to green card Hutchinson for a poor stick tackle.
But Forest hit back as Judy Bentham picked up the ball and slipped it past the keeper to make it 5-1.
In the second half, further goals followed - from a short corner, the ball fell to Zoe Kidney who placed it passed the keeper.
Another short corner saw Bythell’s flick was saved, only for Hutchinson to pick the ball up and coolly lift it into the top corner.
Hutchinson then weaved into the D and passed the ball into the bottom right corner, before Cormack added her second after a fine save from a Bythell effort.
Players of the match were Hutchinson and Bentham.
