As the season draws to a close, Colne Ladies played their last EWGA Medal.

In-form Irene Lonsdale won with a score of 69-21-90, reducing her handicap to 20 and also won last weeks Stableford competition with 31 points.

Cheryl Barnes came in second with a 92-22-70 and third was Debra Wood (100-28-72).

In the final medal competition of the season at Marsden Park, Eva Pinder’s 87-20-67 - her best of the season - took first place, five shots ahead of Michelle Lingard’s 95-23-72.

Aaron Brearley took first place foer the juniors with his 82-14-68, with Jake Proctor in second.

In the men’s compettion Mark Eastwood’s 70-6-64 won the 0-11 category, six shots ahead of Paul Timberlake’s nett score of 70.

Robert Baxter’s 79-13-66 beat Robert Eastwoood’s 83-15-68 to win the 12-17. In the 18-28 category, Fran Powell’s 85-20-65 took first place, with President Fred Greenwood’s 94-26-68 taking second.
