It was a family affair as Trawden Athletic Club tackled the Wigan 10k.

Twenty five runners from the club, including Wigan Phoenix AAC affiliate member Leo Anson, raced over the 6.1-mile distance with three members of the same family celebrating success.

Adam Howard was the first Trawden runner over the line in 37 minutes 54 seconds while sister Autumn was sixth lady with a personal best time of 39:36

Dad David was first in the 55-59 age category in a time of 42.17, receiving congratulations from 800m World Championship medallist Jenny Meadows.
