West Craven Warriors will pay tribute to killed East Lancashire soldier Jordan Dean Bancroft every time they set foot on the field of play.

The club has a brand new strip courtesy of the Memorial Fund, which was set up in the Lance Corporal’s name.

Jordan, who was born in Burnley, was killed in action in Afghanistan more than five years ago.

The fund has helped other local community projects in Barnoldswick.

After the grand unveiling of the new kit, the Warriors went on to beat Worth Village 36-26.
