Colne Cricket Club ahave announced two new shirt sponsorship deals ahead of the forthcoming Lancashire League season.
The club have signed up with one of Colne’s longest-established plumbing and heating engineering companies, J Driver Limited, who are based on Albert Road, to act as the main shirt sponsor for the next two seasons.
Andrew Pinder from J Driver said: “We are delighted to team up with the local cricket club.
“When we heard they were searching for a new sponsor, it was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse.
“Having played at the club as a junior, I have many fond memories and wanted to give something back.”
Gary Hunt, Colne CC chairman said: “It’s great news for the club and fantastic that a prominent business within the town will be adorning the club’s playing shirts.”
The club have also signed a deal with Unique Clean to act as a sleeve sponsor for the same two-year period.
Glen Stock, Managing Director of Unique Clean said: “Having seen the club’s plight in the press the other week, I wanted to do something to help. When this opportunity came along I jumped at the chance.
“The cricket club is a vital part of the town and Unique Clean wanted to show our support.”
