Natalie Rose (29), who now lives in York, released the first book in the Bearnshaw saga, “Legend of the Whyte Doe,” a year ago. Based on the legend of Bearnshaw Tower, the book has been well received by the public and critics.

The next instalment of Bearnshaw, “Triumph of the Red Dragon,” sees the family dynasty moving into the reign of King Richard III, providing all the intrigue, controversy and tragedy associated with the infamous king.

“Having a farm to run and children to care for does mean I have to be very hot on time management,” said Natalie.

“My writing style differs to many in that I don’t write huge first drafts and then edit it down, I edit mentally first and only begin writing when I have all the kinks worked out.”

“Legend of the Whyte Doe” is available on Amazon and the second instalment will be released next month.
