Abdul Saddique (119) and Kyle Marshall (93) were largely responsible for Barlick’s 274-5.
James Watson and Joe Rawlinson hit half centuries in Salesbury’s reply but in a contest of 530 runs, the visitors fell 18 short of victory.
Sajid Akhtar took 2-52 off nine overs for Barnoldswick, while Jordan Howarth-Hynes returned 5-70 off 13.3.
Meanwhile, Read’s four-wicket win over Earby only hastened the Applegarth team’s likely demotion to Section B.
Former Earby man Andrew Rushton took 5-32 for Read against his old club.
Earby posted 146, before Read knocked off the runs for the loss of six wickets.
David Crotty took 2-55 off 13 overs, and skipper Matthew Haines 2-47 off 12.4.
In the Lawrenson Cup Final, Barnoldswick seconds lost to Salesbury at Ribchester Road by six wickets.
Barlick batted first and were restricted to 149-9, before Salesbury knocked off the winning runs with four wickets down.
Ashley Marsh and Alistair Holgate both picked up three wickets for the hosts, and though the game was evenly poised, a great partnership from veteran Peter Blackman (36 not out) and Alistair Holgate (52) saw Salesbury home.
