Harry Ingham secured the deciding frame for top placed Burnley Miners in the Nelson and District Semi-Snooker League with a 34 clearance in their 3-2 win at Alexandra.

St Andrew’s share second place with Alexandra after a 3-2 home win over Lamb B, while White Lea Head stay in fourth place with a 3-2 away win over Lamb A.

In the Second Division, Padiham A remains in poll position and extended their lead at the top to nine points with a 5-0 home win over Liberal B.

Steve Holgate had a run of 33 for Poultry D, who ended up 3-2 away winners over David Street A, with both teams sharing second place with St Andrew’s B, who came away from Carters with a 3-2 win.

In the Third Division, Shorthomers C remain at the top after a 3-2 home win over their D side, for whom Glen Stevenson had a run of 35.

Lamb D stay in second place after a 3-2 away win over Foulridge Social Club.
