Photographer Matt Gartside and painter A.C Telfer are opening Shoreline in celebration of the coast.

This immersive experience featuring paintings, photography, sound and video will be available at their studio and gallery 22B, Sough, until the end of May.

Telfer, who has been selected for the North Yorkshire Open Studios event in May, said: "I want to capture what it is like to feel the sand between your toes and the wind in your hair, the spray in your eyes and the smell of ozone in the air. Hopefully, visitors to the exhibition will really feel that they are at the coast - despite being in the Pennines!"

The preview will take place on Sunday at 7-15pm. Entry is free and includes refreshments.
