A cracking time was had by all who attended Gisburn Road Primary School’s Christmas Fair in Barnoldswick.
Organised by the Friends of Gisburn Road School, the group did fantastically well to lure Father Christmas and his Grotto to the school at his busiest time of the year.
On top of that, £845 was made during two hours of festive fun with tombolas, a raffle, a games room, a cake stall and children’s enterprise stalls.
Headteacher Nicola Walker said: “It was very busy all morning. Father Christmas came, the choir sang and we had a raffle. It was well supported by families and businesses who provided items for the raffle.”
Funds raised are currently going in to a pot to improve outdoor provisions and make the school’s playground more interactive for the children.
