She may have been pipped to the winning post in last year’s spectacular Strictly Come Dancing final by blonde beauty Abbey Clancy.

But Pendle actress Natalie Gumede, and her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, are showing what they are made of on Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour.

The pair, who are joined by other Strictly celebs including “dragon” Deborah Meaden, rugby player Ben Cohen and TV presenter Susanna Reid, are wowing crowds with their polished and entertaining routines.

So much so, their Vienesse Waltz and Jive (a routine Natalie was unable to perform on live shows due to a back injury) have seen them coming out on top in audience text votes.

The dancing duo won four out of five shows at The NIA, in Birmingham - being beaten by Susanna and her partner Kevin Clifton in just one. They also managed to bag themselves a double Wembley win.

Natalie, a former Colne Park High School student and former Corrie villain, has made no secret of her love for all things Strictly, previously telling Leader Times Newspapers: “It has been so surreal - I am the Strictly Stalker Superfan, so I sometimes feel the same as when I was on Coronation Street.

“I stand on set and realise that this is a massive thing I am part of, and I am a tiny piece of the show’s history. It’s wonderful.”

The actress has also been continuing to share her journey via her Twitter account, writing “Last two shows in Birmingham and it’s been a blast! Consider my mind officially blown! Thank you everyone who has come down to support us x” and “Packing up to go back on the road. Goodnight Wembley xxxx”.

Natalie will continue touring until Sunday, February 9th. She is set to take to the stage at the Phones 4u Arena, in Manchester, on February 6th and 7th.

• For anybody unable to catch Burnley-born Natalie on the road, there is a chance to see Strictly professionals Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas at the Muni from 8pm on Tuesday, April 1st.

Tickets are priced at £18 for adults and £14 for concessions, and can be bought online at or the Muni Box Office on 661234.
