For many, it was the paw-fect start to the festive season when a Pendle charity held a party for pooches.
Father Christmas arrived by Huskymobile to the Pendle Dogs in Need “Santa Paws” event and had a busy afternoon dispensing gifts and ho-ho-hos to children, grown ups and, of course, hounds.
The event raised a massive £1,433.63 which will go towards food, equipment and medical care for the rescue dogs.
More events are planned for the new year, including a first birthday party for Lola’s puppies on January 25th.
Pendle Dogs in Need founder Sharon Ashley said: “Thanks to all of you who joined us at the Pendle Dogs in Need Christmas Fair, it was lovely to meet you and your four-legged friends.
“We would like to wish all our supporters a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.”
