Set to strike a chord in the hearts of residents, a Pendle duo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pendleside Hospice at the Burnley Mechanics next month.

Vicky Johnson-Brown and opera singer Sean Ruane, of CHANT Productions, are hosting a 30 Years of Caring concert to raise funds for the hospice.

Sean will stun audiences with songs from popular music to musicals when he shares the stage with both children from 10 schools and members of the hospice choir.

The pupils will also take part in workshops with CHANT Productions in the months leading up to the event.

Sean made his name following a rendition of Jerusalem at several Ashes test cricket series and joined forces with Vicky to train adults and children to sing at huge sporting, cultural and local events.

Tickets for the concert on Thursday, May 17th at 7pm can be booked for £12 each by calling 01282 664400 or visiting www.burnleymechanics.co.uk
