Get set to blast back to the 80s this month when Green Door Theatre Group presents a double bill of shows.
Audiences will be transported to the music, magic and madness of the night-clubber’s life - but they’ll also walk in the shoes of those trapped on the harder side of the party world.
Shakers is the first to slide on stage, bringing with it a confetti explosion of colourful characters and dramatic scenes.
It follows a group of cocktail waitresses as they navigate from workplace to bedsit, where desperate young women attempt to transform themselves for the party night ahead.
Bouncers romps through the town’s party scene, examining life through the eyes of the hard-done chaps standing guard on the door of every club. It swings from colourful characters and groovy scenes to softer moments of contemplation.
The shows will run from Wednesday, March 29th to Saturday, April 1st at The Muni, Albert Road, Colne. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 and can be ordered on 01282 661234. Alternatively book online at www.themuni.co.uk or pay on the door on the night.
Anyone dressed in 80s costume who buys a strip of raffle tickets will receive one free.
